Here is a plain-spoken overview of how we handle insurance, self-pay, and payments.
Every insurance plan is different, and they all speak their own language. Because of that, we always encourage you to:
Just a friendly note: Even if your insurance says something is “covered,” that’s not a guarantee of payment. Your insurance company makes the final call.
If we’re not in network with your plan—or you prefer to handle things yourself—we can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt with all the info your insurance needs).
You can submit that to your insurance company and they may reimburse you directly, depending on your plan.
We’re glad to help you get the paperwork you need, but we can’t control how your insurance processes it.
We gladly welcome folks who choose to pay directly for their visits.
If you’d like to know what to expect before you book, just give us a call—we’re happy to walk you through it so there are no surprises.

Some services—like specialty lab work, injections, or procedures—may involve:
We will always do our best to prepare you for any extra costs ahead of time, but final amounts are determined by:
If you’re ever unsure, please ask. We’d much rather answer questions on the front end than have you surprised by a bill later.
If something on a statement doesn’t look right—or just doesn’t make sense—reach out:
If you can, have your date of service and insurance information handy so we can help you faster.
Insurance rules and healthcare regulations change from time to time (whether we like it or not). Tox Sisters may update our financial and billing policies as needed.
The most current version will always be posted here on our website.
